Bushcraft Tools and Gadgets
Join us for an entire weekend dedicated to the common tools associated with Bushcraft and Survival where our specialist instructors will teach you how to choose a suitable knife, how to maintain it and keep it razor sharp; what different styles of knife are available and what their uses are.
We will also look at a variety of saws, axes and carving tools. Learn how to safely chop, cut, fell and split wood for your fire, how to make feather sticks to aid your fire lighting skills and how to carve some basic utensils and make some useful gizmos such as an adjustable pot hanger for the fire.
If you have your own tools feel free to bring them along but everything needed will be provided and this is an ideal course to learn about what tools suit you best for your interest in the great outdoors.
