The popular fun and inspiring wool show returns for a 10th year. Enjoy a luxurious and inspirational day out, with luscious hand dyed yarns, beautiful handmade wool and felt items, unique knit and crochet kits, a wide selection of accessories from buttons to crochet hooks for sale, craft demonstrations plus workshops including Mosaic Crochet, Brioche Knitting, Shetland Lace Knitting, Macrame and Spinning with a Drop Spindle. The visitors theme of “10” handmade competition (no pre-registration required) judged by our VIP guest crochet designer Eleonora Tully at 12.30pm on the day. Accessible venue with free parking for wool show visitors.

About our VIP Guest
Eleonora Tully, also known as ‘Coastal Crochet’, is a crochet designer and crochet blogger. Eleonora is well known for hosting her colourful blanket crochet-alongs with people from all over the world taking part and a global community has formed around her designs. Eleonora has crocheted for many years having initially learnt in childhood and then in 2015 undertaking the International Diploma in Crochet. As a result, her crochet designs are very varied and she embraces a variety of crochet techniques. Living by the sea provides Eleonora with lots of inspiration for her crochet designs and she has had numerous designs published in UK crochet magazines, as well as designing for a variety of other companies and events. Eleonora regularly teaches crochet workshops for beginners through to teaching more complex techniques and enjoys giving talks on the subject too.

The Marriott Hotel Waltham Abbey is next to junction 26 on the M25. Upon leaving the motorway in a clockwise direction, take the second exit at the roundabout at the end of the sliproad. Leaving in an anti-clockwise direction, take the fourth exit from the roundabout at the end of the sliproad (travelling under the M25) and then the third exit at the next roundabout. The Waltham Abbey Marriott is directly in front of you.
Directions from London Stansted Airport: Southbound M11 to M25, then westbound on M25 to Junction 26.
Directions from London Heathrow Airport: M4 westbound to M25, then northbound M25 to junction 26
Directions from London City Airport: Drive North from city Airport on M11, Take M25 Junction towards M1,A1,Watford (Not Dartford Tunnel) Leave M25 at Junction 26, at first roundabout turn right and go under the M25. The Waltham Abbey Marriott is directly in front of you.
