Epping Forest's Tudor Hunt Standing: a Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge tour

Dates: 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th October

Times: 11:00am - 12:00pm & 14:00pm - 15:00pm (morning and afternoon slot availabe for each date)

Cost: £25.00 per ticket for up to 5 people - adults and children - from one social bubble

Discover its stories and its links with the wider history of Epping Forest as a royal hunting Forest – and the Tudor food and entertainment which Henry VIII, Queen Elizabeth and their courtly guests may have enjoyed.

Before you visit

Plan your journey and arrive 5-10 minutes before your entry time

Please bring a face covering with you as you will need to wear this throughout your visit to the attraction

We are asking that you book this tour as a single group

Hand sanitizer will be offered at the beginning and end of your tour

As the Hunting Lodge is a historic listed site, we request that you don’t bring your dog (assistance Dogs excepted)

Important: To ensure staff and visitor safety, prior to your visit, if you start to display any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19, we will discuss how we can amend your booking for another day. We ask that you refrain from visiting and contact us at epping.forest@cityoflondon.gov.uk to change your visit date. We can refund your ticket price with 48-hours’ notice.

Your tour guide will maintain social distancing throughout your tour

We request that visitors do not touch displays in the Hunting Lodge

Other visitors will not be permitted in the Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge during your visit

Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge and the Epping Forest Visitor Centre and its public toilets are managed in line with government guidance on Covid-19 safety

Staff will invite all members of your group to leave contact details at the front desk for ‘Track and Trace’ purposes
