About

High Beech Riding School first opened to the public in 1970 and our aim today is the same as the day we opened, to teach you to ride, or improve your riding in a friendly atmosphere and pleasant surroundings.

High Beech Riding School is situated in High Beech village in the centre of Epping Forest, Essex and cater for all riders, from teaching the beginner or novice in our indoor school to experienced riders wishing to improve their technique. We also offer escorted forest rides (Hacking). Our location right in the heart of Epping Forest, Essex gives us over 6000 acres of woodland to explore.

High Beech Riding School currently have a working yard of over 30 horses. As the longest running establishment with the same owner for miles around we still have lots of new ideas to build on past successes and look forward to continue serving the community and clients old and new for many years to come.

You are welcome to come down to our yard to meet our friendly team of staff, say hello to all the horses, check out our facilities and enjoy the stunning forest views.  Complimentary tea and coffee is always on hand so come along for a visit and see what we have to offer.

Everyone at High Beech Riding School extends their warmest wishes to you and we hope to see you soon!

HBRS also offers TASTER HORSE RIDING SESSIONS, PONY RIDES, GIFT VOUCHERS.
