Embark on a magical journey to save the Royal Gunpowder Mills from the mischievous elves and their questionable leader, the green and grumpy one! This festive event promises three hours of enchantment, filled with captivating activities for the whole family.
Ticket prices: Individual (child or adult): £20 + £1.50 booking fee. Family of 2: £36 + £1.50 booking fee. Family of 4: £60 + £1.50 booking fee.

Join Captain Calamity for a 'Santa-mime' adventure in a whimsical performance that will leave you in stitches. The laughter-filled show is sure to entertain and distract you from the elf chaos.
Discover the secrets of the elves in Captain Fantastic's Elf Lab. Hear captivating stories of his encounters with these mischievous creatures and find out how he got trapped in the lair of the green and grumpy one. Can you help save Captain Fantastic and unlock the key to restoring order?
Participate in heartwarming workshops to create acts of kindness that will melt the green and grumpy one's heart. Craft beautiful hearts and inscribe them with messages of goodwill before posting them through his postbox at the mills. And remember, we won't call the green and grumpy one by his name as Santa disapproves!
Compose a heartfelt letter to Santa Claus and drop it into his postbox. Share your wishes for a peaceful and joyful holiday season, and who knows, Santa might just have a special surprise for you!
Explore the Christmas market filled with delightful goodies. Your ticket includes a free hot drink to keep you warm as you peruse the festive stalls. Don't forget to keep an eye out for the green and grumpy one, who might be attempting to steal decorations!

The Royal Gunpowder Mills is located in Beaulieu Drive, off Highbridge Street (at traffic lights and opposite McDonalds), a ten minute walk from the centre of Waltham Abbey. The entrance is at top north end of Beaulieu Drive.
There is free parking
From J26 of M25, take A121 to Waltham Abbey; or from J25 of M25 go to Waltham Cross and then A121.

By Rail
Nearest station is Waltham Cross, connecting London Liverpool Street or Tottenham Hale underground (Victoria Line) to/from Cheshunt/Broxbourne/Hertford East.
We are a 25 minute walk east from the station.
