Cycling For Health: Monday Evening Rides

About

Cycling For Health: Wednesday Morning Rides - Gunpowder Park

An evening ride on Monday 26th July 2021 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

This is an easy route which is flat and on walking/cycling paths where participants can keep a constant steady pace.

Price:  £5 (or £10 to include bike and helmet hire)

These Monday evening rides are brought to you in connection with the Lee Valley Reginal Park Authority Active Community Funding and Epping Forest District Council Community and Culture department.

The Cycling for Health programme is a series of led rides in the Lee Valley Reginal Park organised by Epping Forest District Council for Adults 18 plus. Cycling is a great activity that can help you get active and improve your health without high costs or high intensity activity that can leave you aching or fatigued. Furthermore, cycling is a very low impact activity so it can also be enjoyed by absolutely everyone.

The routes used are generally traffic free as we stick to bridleways and paths. The rides are approximately 10 to 15km (6-10miles) and although this may sound short the routes differ in intensity and terrain. Currently we won’t be having a break at a café, so please bring a drink and a snack.

Book here online or call 01992 564226 (phone lines open 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday not including Bank Holidays)

If you wish to hire a bike, please see our size chart, check your bike size here.
