Join Gill Hopkins for an opportunity to visit the ponds and streams in Loughton Woods and discover the origins of this landscape and the issues it faces today. The walk is mainly on established paths but occasionally follow narrow tracks. This would be a moderate walk.
What to bring/wear
Please wear weather-proof clothings and sturdy footwear, as part of the route could be muddy and slippery
Please bring snacks and water if you need

Join our Guided Walks to discover more of Epping Forest and its ecology, heritage and cultural. Walks are led by our expert volunteer leaders. Some are a gental stroll, whilst others are taken at a faster pace. Each walk tends to focus on a small part of the Forest, and sometimes with specific themes ranging from local histry to natural environment.
