Ho, Ho, Ho! Father Christmas is Coming to Epping Forest District Museum
meet Father Christmas in his Victorian themed grotto! Each child ticket includes a present from Father Christmas and the chance to craft some wonderful Christmas decorations to take home!
If you have more than 1 child in your family that would like to see Father Christmas, you are welcome to book them onto the same slot. We recommend arriving at least 5 minutes before your slot with Father Christmas to make sure we keep to time and everyone has a good chance to share their wish list with him! The museum will be open from 10am to 4pm, you can do the crafts that are included in your ticket at anytime during the day, either before or after your Father Christmas visit.

The Museum is located in the heart of the historic town of Waltham Abbey, situated just outside the M25 between Epping Forest and the Lee Valley. From the M25, leave at junction 26 and follow the signs to Waltham Abbey.
Free parking is currently available at the Abbey Gardens carpark which is a 10 minute walk from the museum. Further pay and display parking is available in the town centre, the nearest car park is Quaker Lane car park which is a 2 minute walk from the museum.
Public Transport Directions
The museum is a 25 minute walk from Waltham Cross Railway Station. A taxi rank is located outside the station. Buses also operate from Waltham Cross Bus Station which is a 5 minute walk from the station and a bus stop is located within a 2 minute walk of the museum.
