Discover Historic Waltham Abbey
Guided tours on 15th April, 20th May, 17th June, 15th July, 19th August, 16th September and 21st October.2023.
Taking place every third Saturday of the month between April and September, starting from the Tourist Information Centre in Highbridge Street at 11.00am, and lasting for around an hour. Your guide on 15th April is local historian Tricia Gurnett, Chairman of Waltham Abbey's Tourism Sub Committee and organiser of the town's medieval events and art trail.
£5 per person including a visitor pack and refreshments on arrival. Children 8 to 16 years £2, under 8 free.

Waltham Abbey - the last resting place of King Harold after his defeat at the Battle of Hastings. History abounds as Waltham Abbey has long played its part on the local, regional, and even international stage.
