January to March Activities 2023
The district council's Community, Culture & Wellbeing Team are here to help boost health and wellbeing across the district, reduce isolation and provide a varied sports, recreation and culture programme for residents. As well as hosting regular activities and one off events, they are keen to share resources and opportunities with residents. Did you know they have volunteering roles and active community groups across the district?

Included are activities for young people during February half term including a family fun drop-in craft session at Epping Forest District Museum and a multi activity day in Debden with a range of games, arts and crafts and sports.

Here’s a taster of some of the highlights of what we’ve got coming up over the next few months:
Adults Programme
Our all new monthly programme of adult wellbeing workshops kicks off next week with New Year New You Relax and Recharge workshop in Epping. Over the next few months the evening workshops will provide the opportunity to get crafty, learn to make some environmentally friendly toiletries, discover techniques to help you relax and each session will end with a guided meditation. Just search “adults” for more information https://eppingforestdc.bookinglive.com/ Alongside this activities are happening daily from our adult programme including keep fit classes and indoor bowls to museum movers, a dance class inspired by Epping Forest District Museums collection. There’s something to keep everyone busy on these crisp winter days.
February Half Term

Join us at Epping Forest District Museum on Tuesday 14 February anytime between 10:30am and 3:30pm to have a go at making your own Tudor Rose Valentine Card! All ages are welcome but the activity most suits those aged from 5 to 11 years.
M.A.D. Camp (Multi-Activity-Day)

We’ll be having full on fun at our holiday camp this half term. We know that all children are different and we’ll be offering an amazing range of sports activities, games and arts and crafts. It’s a brilliant opportunity to try something new and we’ll be learning basic skills in sports such as tennis, football and trampolining! We will also be making and decorating a variety of items made from salt dough, such as necklaces and heart art inspired by Valentine’s Day.
