About

Abridge Village Weekend

Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June 2023

Abridge Village Hall Field - 39 Ongar Road, Abridge, Essex RM4 1UD

The Abridge Weekend is back with a full weekend of fun and entertainment.  This year there have been some changes and the weekend consists of  a Saturday Fun Day with music going on until 11 pm! and our famous Car Show, Craft Fair, and Antiques Fair on Sunday.

Friday night: Boxing night organised by a local boxing promoter.  Ticket only event door and bar open at 17:45, first fight 19:00, more details to follow.

As always both days will have lots going on with a Fun Fair and Bouncy Castle Arena and many other attractions. Both daytime events open to the public at 11 am. Trade stalls, show vehicles, stalls, etc. can enter from 8 am. There is something for everyone throughout the weekend, with a licensed bar, refreshments, food stalls, and much more through both Saturday and Sunday.

This year we hope that the Weekend will be a continued success so that we can carry on funding essential repairs and maintenance of the fantastic village hall. It is because of the money raised by the Fundraising Committee that allows the hall to be maintained to such a high standard and allows local residents to rent out the hall and very competitive rates.

Local charities and organisations also benefit by raising funds with stalls on the Fun Day for which they keep 100% of all money raised. Look around the website and  contact us for any further information.
