Epping Forest District Council Meet the Construction Buyer business event

About

Meet the Construction Buyer event.

Thursday 14th March 2024 4pm-8pm

Conference Suite Civic Offices, 323 High Street, Epping CM16 4BZ

Tickets - Free book here

With an unprecedented number of exciting construction projects coming to the Epping Forest District over the coming years, this event is an opportunity for local businesses to discover more about the opportunities they offer and meet buyers from major players.

At this event you will be able to talk to developers and contractors to find out more about construction-related supply chain opportunities, the range of products, skills and services sought and how to go about successfully tendering for work. There will also be training and skills providers to explain how they can support any up-skilling needs and the advantages of offering apprenticeships.

There is a planning requirement for major building and construction projects to engage with local businesses to support the local economy. This provides a platform for local business to thrive and grow. This event is your opportunity to register your interest in being part of this growth and find out what the construction buyers expect of you, and what you need to do to make it happen.

Together we can build a picture of what the district has to offer, what when and where future construction can call on these skills, services and products, and how everyone can benefit - from our young people looking for skills and employment to businesses wishing to prosper and grow.
