Sheering VJ Commemoration

Saturday 16th August 2025,11am at the War Memorial and afterwards in the Village Hall

The Street, Sheering CM22 7LX

Marking the 80th anniversary of Victory in Japan Day with the official opening of the newly renovated war memorial in the high street followed by tea and homemade cake in the adjacent village hall provided by the Woman's Institute.

The ceremony will be led by Norman Jackson, whose father is honoured on the memorial. All proceeds will go towards the village hall fund.
